Pupil Premium Information
Pupil Premium (PP) Lead: Mrs Charlotte Wheatland
Our approach to supporting disadvantaged pupils ensures that barriers to learning and wellbeing are identified early and addressed effectively. We have high expectations for all pupils and are committed to ensuring that disadvantage does not limit achievement, participation or opportunity.
Our Pupil Premium strategy is carefully planned and based on a secure understanding of pupils’ individual and group needs. It is aligned with whole-school priorities and focuses on identifying and removing barriers to learning and wellbeing. We use this understanding to implement targeted support and approaches that are most likely to improve outcomes for disadvantaged pupils.
We:
- Identify barriers to learning and wellbeing accurately
- Use a structured cycle of planning, implementation and review
- Provide targeted academic and pastoral support
- Monitor the impact of provision and adapt it where needed
This ensures that support is responsive, effective and leads to sustained improvements in pupils’ progress, confidence and engagement.
